As-salamu alaykum, sister π
My name is Abeir, and I'm the founder of Anaqatk First.
Before I tell you what we sell, I want to tell you why we exist. Because the "why" is the part that matters β the part you can't fake, no matter how good your photos are.
So pull up a chair, sister. Let me tell you the truth about how this brand was born.
The Search That Started Everything
For years, I searched for modest fashion that felt like it was designed for ME.
Not modest as an afterthought. Not modest meaning "cover up." But modest as elegance. As intention. As something I could wear with my head held high β not because I was hiding, but because I was shining.
I'd walk into stores and find one of two extremes. Either gorgeous luxury that wasn't built for hijabis β backless, sleeveless, sheer. Or modest options that looked like an apology β plain, shapeless, made to disappear.
Where was the luxury for sisters like me? Where were the products that understood that I want to look beautiful AND honor my faith β at the same time, with no compromise?
I couldn't find it. So I decided to build it.
Building From Anoka, Minnesota
I'm a Minnesotan sister. Long winters. Strong community. The kind of place where you learn to bundle up beautifully and still keep your style.
This brand was built here β in my home, late at night, after the kids were finally asleep. With my prayer mat folded in the corner. With cups of tea going cold while I edited product photos at 2 AM.
Every product on this site, I touched. Every supplier, I vetted. Every decision β from the emerald and gold of our brand to the names we gave each piece in Arabic β came from one place: Would I be proud to give this to my own daughters?
If the answer was no, it didn't make the cut.
Four Daughters Watching Me Build This
I'm a mother of four girls.
That sentence carries the weight of why Anaqatk First exists.
Every product I create, I'm thinking about the women they're going to grow into, in shaa Allah. The teenagers they'll be. The professionals. The brides. The mothers themselves, one day.
I want them to grow up in a world where modest fashion isn't a niche β it's a celebration. Where Muslim women aren't asked to choose between faith and beauty. Where hijab care tools sit on vanities next to high-end skincare, not hidden in drawers.
I want them to see their mother build something with her own hands β prayer in her heart, kids in the next room, dreams bigger than anyone told her they could be.
So when I tell you that this brand is built with intention and love, I'm not using marketing words. I'm telling you that my daughters are watching. And what they see, they will become.
"I want my daughters to know that they don't have to dim their light to be modest. They don't have to choose between elegance and faith. They get both. They deserve both."
Why Every Product Has an Arabic Name
You'll notice each product on Anaqatk First has a name in Arabic:
- LulΓΊ (ΩΨ€ΩΨ€) β Pearl. Quiet luxury. Timeless beauty.
- Safa (Ψ΅ΩΨ§) β Purity. The bracelet you wear close to your heart.
- Asala (Ψ£Ψ΅Ψ§ΩΨ©) β Authenticity. The everyday tool that just works.
- Jawhara (Ψ¬ΩΩΨ±Ψ©) β Jewel. The piece that makes you shine.
- Zaina (Ψ²ΩΩΨ©) β Adornment. Custom-made for the name you love.
And the brand itself β Anaqatk (Ψ£ΩΨ§ΩΨͺΩ) β means "Your Elegance." Anaqatk First means your elegance comes first.
I named everything in Arabic on purpose, sister. Because our language is sacred. Because the words we choose carry meaning. Because when you wear something with an Arabic name, you're carrying a piece of our heritage with you, wherever you go.
This is who we are. This is who we've always been.
My Promises to You
I'm a solo founder, sister. There is no committee. No marketing team. No corporate office.
It's me. So here's what I can promise you, personally:
1. Quality first. If a product doesn't pass MY skin test, MY hijab test, MY mother test β you'll never see it on this site. I won't sell you anything I wouldn't give to my own daughters or sisters.
2. Honest pricing. No fake "was $200, now $50" nonsense. The price you see is what the product is worth. Tax-included at events. Real discounts when I run them. No tricks.
3. Real customer service. When you email Anaqatk First, you're emailing ME. There's no chatbot. No call center. Just a sister, ready to help another sister.
4. Faith-rooted always. No Islamic appropriation. No using our heritage for aesthetics without understanding. Every Arabic word, every du'a, every greeting on this site comes from someone who lives the faith β not someone borrowing it for branding.
5. A 1-year quality guarantee. On all our hijab care tools. If something stops working, we replace it. Free.
Where We're Going
Right now, you'll find hijab care tools (Asala and Jawhara), elegant jewelry (Safa, LulΓΊ, and Zaina) on Anaqatk First.
But this is just the beginning, inshaaAllah.
Coming soon: a full hijab line in fabrics I've personally tested β Warda (pearl chiffon), Hiba (bamboo modal), Yusra (embellished), and Amna (the soft undercap that holds it all together). Each one named with intention. Each one made for a sister who deserves better.
And after that? Modest activewear. Loungewear. Eventually, complete looks for every part of a sister's life. Built carefully. Released slowly. Always with quality first.
Because legacies aren't built in a year, sister. They're built one beautiful piece at a time.
A Personal Invitation
If you've made it this far, sister β thank you. Truly.
I see you. The woman searching for modest fashion that doesn't make her feel like she's compromising. The hijabi who deserves elegance, not just "coverage." The sister building her own life, her own dreams, her own legacy.
This brand is for you. You, specifically.
Welcome to Anaqatk First. I'm so glad you're here.
May Allah bless your day, your style, and your story. π
With love,
Abeir
